wir möchten Sie in unserem Restaurant Maharaja herzlich begrüsßen und ihnen die kulinarischen Extravaganzen des großmoguls näherbrinen
A few months ago I wrote a bad review based on several visits/pickups. I have since had the opportunity to try the food again twice and I will say that the food was very good now. I think they changed the chef. The dishes are different from each other, the ominous „one Sauce fits all“ is gone and it tasted very good! Keep up the good work
We ordered and picked up food - why is delivery not possible? Would definitely make sense. The food was very good and stayed warm for a long time. But when ordering, no question was asked about how spicy the food should be. The dishes were therefore all very mild, but otherwise great in taste. So a suggestion for improvement: Introduce the delivery & query the desired sharpness, as usual in the restaurant. In terms of price, the dishes are on the same level as in the restaurant - upscale. We paid € 98 for 6 dishes and 4x garlic naan. A bit expensive for a meal from the aluminum bowl.
delicious Indian dishes and super friendly. Thank you and all the best in this special time.
Awesome Indian food! The meala are absolutely worth the price. As vegetarian options I recommend number 65 (vegetable kofta) and 72 (dal makhni). If you order always try Naan in its different tastes.
Take away food is not recommended. Culinary similar to a microwave ready meal. The Chicken Korma just doesn't taste like anything. Thanks, never again.
Delicious. For real. Go there! Upper class quality and middle class prices.
Very high quality, everything tasted excellent, I, who don't like to eat spicy, was asked again about the degree of spiciness I wanted when I placed my order. I found that very attentive. The Corona rules are implemented well. Noticeably friendly, courteous staff!
Delicious! That was our first visit and we'd love to come back. Great staff and there is a lot going on, there is probably a little waiting time but it was really worth it.
We had been eating there again for a long time on Sunday, October 18th, 2020 with our 8-month-old daughter. The service was very friendly and we were immediately offered a high chair. The food came in a reasonable time and of the usual quality. However, we sorely missed the food warmers. As a result, the dishes were quickly cold and the cosiness of the food, which we otherwise appreciate so much, was unfortunately not given, which we found a shame.
Good food and good ambiance... Took me back to India for a while! PS. Great Masala Chai!!!
We went on Fridays and made reservations. The food was delicious. We had a multi-course menu for two. Unfortunately we noticed the time pressure very much. We were asked several times during the meal whether it could be cleared. After 1.5 hours we were asked to pay and leave despite full drinks, as the table was already taken for others. With 80 € that we paid, it was unfortunately not a relaxed evening.
One of the best restaurants I know. The wait staff are all friendly and humorous, although it is often really busy. Better to reserve. Sometimes there can be a wait, but it's always worth it. Full belly = happy heart.
Totally friendly and pleasant staff. Were with 5 people to visit. Our service team explained the food to us, even when it was served. Is very good for someone who doesn't enjoy Indian cuisine too often. I can recommend the menu for two! Not too little even for good eaters ?
We were there for the first time today, it was delicious, the atmosphere in the restaurant was great and there was enough distance. The staff was very friendly and asked again and again if everything was good. We wish you continued success! Bye for now!!
My favorite restaurant in all of Stuttgart. Delicious food, fresh and clean. A minus point, since the restaurant has not been renovated since I knew it and the furnishings no longer contribute to the positive atmosphere.
Good North Indian Food. Very friendly staff.
I will never understand why this place is so popular. I suspect people don't eat Indian regularly. My biggest criticisms are the taste of the food, the portion size and the service. The taste varies greatly. Depending on which dish you order on which day of the week, a visit to the restaurant can be a hit or a flop. The prices are in no reasonable relation to the portion size. A visit to a restaurant should advertise good food and fill you up - that is not the case here. The waiters fluctuate: Corona regulations, a friendly demeanor and faster service are optional here. Depends on the waiter. The naan variations, the lassis and the tandori chicken variations are praiseworthy. These mostly succeed. Conclusion: There is a lack of performance here to justify the prices.
Probably one of the best indian restaurants around Stuttgart. Everytime the food is outstanding and waiters are quick to help and serve.
Authentic Indian taste.. Loved it... Lots of varieties of food to choose from.. Good ambience and reasonable price
Very tasty dishes, fast (despite Saturday evening) and attentive and friendly service. Generous portions. If you are very hungry, you should order the Kashmir menu: you are guaranteed to be full. € 3.90 for a 1L bottle of chilled tap water is a bit overpriced ... but tap water is still available (not many restaurants offer this). If you want to eat Saturday evening, it is better to reserve in advance.
The food is always really delicious and the staff is always friendly and hard-working. Only the partially small tables are a minor drawback. If you like, you can sit outside on the terrace, but shouldn't be disturbed by the noise of the adjacent street.
Great tasting Indian cuisine, though I found the staff serving us were a little hasty ?
Treat Indian customers with respect. I had very bad experience , impolite behavior from staff towards especially with Indian customers. I would not recommend this restaurant for Indians
Good taste, parking available. Bit overpriced but acceptable.
Rude service, not so great taste.
Very good food and plenty of it. They have a place to sit outside, which is nice and convenient in the summer.
Loved it, friendly staff, great food, reasonable price. Only downside it the parking area, it's not big enough.
Four stars for the food. However, the men's restrooms was stinking and the floor sticky. And our drinks (Apfel Schorle, Pils) were flat(no gas). Apfel Schorle was cold but they still saw it fitting to add ice which just diluted it and made it tasteless.
Very friendly staff, very attentive and courteous. Eating really delicious. Was my first time eating Indian.
Indian food done right! North Indian cuisine with an authentic taste. Good Begetarian and even some Vegan options available. Must try food: 1.Grillplatte(both vegetarian and meat options). The dish is served as a "sizzler" with an additional rich tomato cream sauce. 2. Butter/Garlic butter Naan (beware, it is rather quite large) The food is a little bit on the expensive side, especially for a vegetarian like me. But you get what you pay for. Good food, good ambience, good bollywood music and great service. Definitely recommended.
Very good food and great service
Authentic Indian food. Tasty and well-prepared dishes with exotic flavors. The variety of the menu is great with chicken, lamb, fish... and also a large list of vegetarian options. We really enjoyed the tandoori mix, the curries and the big Naan, delicious. The service is friendly and nice. We will come back soon to try more dishes.
We, two friends and I, were there yesterday, on June 4th, 2020. The security precautions are absolutely sufficient. The employees also wear masks. :) The food is just wonderful every time! EVERYTHING on this menu seems delicious. We come regularly. Definitely our favorite restaurant in Echterdingen! :) And the service is super friendly and the handling is almost familiar. Very nice! :) :) :) Many Thanks!
Food was good and filling. Will dine there again.
Best Indian restaurant in Stuttgart-Region. Hospitality is really one of it's best thing which I admire. I would recommend to everyone who is looking for a tasty and affordable Indian cuisine.
Very nice food
Clean, good service and quality food
Rude and impolite waiter behavior towards Indians. The waiter brought the bill and kept on the table even before we finished eating and asked us to leave as its was their closing time. However, they were gladly taking orders on other tables(non-Indians). Asking to leave is understood, but the way they asked was rude. Food was above average, but the Salad was not fresh. The cabbages were a bit discolored.
Rude and impolite behavior of waiter towards Indians. The waiter brought the bill even before we finished eating completely and asked us to leave as it was time afternoon closing time. However, they were gladly serving other tables (Non-indians). Asking to leave is understood, but the way it was asked sounded rude. Food was above average, the salad we received was not fresh and it had bit of discoloration. The chicken kabab(starter) seemed to be loaded with food color. Update 1: Unfortunately your staff has provided you with the wrong information. Our visit was exactly at 1.19pm hours. After seeing the the opening hours only we had booked a table at 1.00 pm. And no! the bill wasn't given at 3pm, but around 2.45 pm. We have the bill receipt. Even the clearing up was done after giving the bill and not before. Also, we did not order any item after 2.30pm. PS. : I never mentioned about red colour in main dishes, but the appetizer. Anyways, thanks for the info. Connoisseurs of any cuisine would ensure their dishes have fresh vegetables. Thanks for your reply and all the best.
The only authentic Indian Restaurant in Stuttgart. Loved the grandeur of the mans, tikkas and the place in general.
Service and attitude of the staff is very bad, when we ordered the rest of the food as a takeaway since they dint allow us to cancel an extra portion , only half of it was in the take away.not a good experience overall.Food is good but wouldn't go again.
Weekdays buffer is great here..
Loved the food here. Good options for both non vegetarian and vegetarian options.
We love coming here from Böblingen. The naan bread is very good. Better than any we tasted in the area. Not a big Indian dish eater, but this food in very good. It’s a big place but reservations is a must. Lensen dip.
Great food. Naan bread is one of the best I've ever eaten.
Great taste and food. Good part is that the restaurant is certified 'HALAL'. Definitely 5 stars :)
Very lovely place. Usually cosy on dinner time, so make sure to book just in case. They have a buffet menu on lunch time. Very good taste, probably best one in the area
We were very happy with this place! We visited with our two toddlers - they enjoyed their yummy Butter Chicken a lot. (They were given separate glasses with straws and small plates - these details count when you travel with children!) There was also a buffet option - we visited at lunchtime - but we chose to order from the menu instead. I had a Lamb Vindaloo which was tasty and very spicy (as it should be!). The naan made in the tandoori oven was out of this world. Service was friendly, attentive and polite. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Had the chicken tikka masala with naan which was awesome.
Delicious, no words!!
